Our filter holders are designed to fit directly onto the spectrometer lens. Different filters are necessary for different light sources as they will block the wavelength of the specific light source while permitting higher wavelengths to pass. This allows the user to see the spectrum without having light source interference.
Refer to the White Sheet for more information on filters and their associated light sources. If you wish to attenuate light, the filter holders are an optimal placement for one of our attenuators.
Each order contains two filter holders with no filters.
